Threshold says there are 119 homes advertised for short term lets in the Midlands, compared to just 79 private rentals.
It wants the Government to put steps in place to tackle their regulation.
Nationally there are over 8,600 short-term lets on Airbnb compared to 2,100 homes available to rent this month.
