A man and woman, both aged in their 60s, are being detained.
Two people have been arrested in connection with the investigation into the murder of Aisling Murphy.
The 23 year old died after she was attacked while running along the Grand Canal in Tullamore, Co. Offaly on the 12th of January.
A man and woman, both aged in their 60s, were arrested yesterday on suspicion of withholding information in relation to the murder investigation.
They're being held at Garda stations in the eastern region, where they can be questioned for up to 24 hours.
