Mullingar Chamber is launching a new voucher card for Westmeath shoppers.
A popular voucher scheme in a Westmeath town is set for a physical and digital upgrade this month.
Mullingar Chamber of Commerce launched their local voucher scheme in paper format over ten years ago - with €500,000 worth of vouchers sold last year alone.
The vouchers will change to a physical card and will also be available in a digital format to use in Mullingar retailers.
Shops can simply use existing payment terminals to accept the card, and it's hoped the change will come into effect in time for Mother's Day.
President of the Mullingar Chamber of Commerce James Bourke says this scheme will continue to help the local economy:
