A Westmeath teacher is being highlighted for her work around EU education.
Dolores Killian of An Grianán National School in Mount Temple is this month's winner of the Blue Star Programme's 'Champion Teacher Spotlight.'
The initiative aims to teach primary school students about the European Union, and how it affects people in Ireland.
Ms Killian says she was inspired to teach her students the course after a trip to the European Parliament in 2022.
She's the second teacher from the Midlands to win the monthly award this year, with David Seale from St.Patrick's BNS receiving the February award.
