The number of asylum seekers in the midlands has seen another decrease.
1,768 International Protection Applicants are currently accommodated in the region, a drop of nearly 30 on the previous week's figures.
The majority of those are in Westmeath, which is housing 824 IPAs, while there are 540 in Laois, and 404 in Offaly.
Around the country, there are over 31,000 asylum seekers being accommodated in Ireland, nearly 8,000 of which are children.
There are also over one thousand staying in tented accommodation.
