Laois, Westmeath and Offaly lose in crucial games
All three local sides were defeated over the weekend in the Football League.
In Division Two Laois went down by 15 points to 10 against Kildare at MW Hire O'Moore Park in a crucial game postponed from Saturday night.
Westmeath were beaten by seven points by Roscommon at Dr Hyde Park also in Division Two
In Division Three Down proved too good for John Maughan's Offaly side winning by 17 points to 9 at O'Connor Park
The Eirgrid Leinster U-20 final between Laois and Dublin will be played on this coming Friday night at Netwatch Dr Cullen Park in Carlow at 7.30pm.
