Dublin College win Sigerson title on home ground
No luck for IT Carlow in last nights' Sigerson Cup final as Pat Critchley's side went down to DCU by 0-14 to 0-7 at the DCU Sportsgrounds in Dublin.
The Dublin College were in control for most of the game and Calow managed only one point from play in the entire game and that came from Laois man Eoin Lowry in the first half.
DCU Led at half-time by 0-5 to 0-2 and Offaly's Cian Farrell weighed in with 6 points from frees for the losers.
David Garland of Monaghan was the man of the match scoring four points for DCU while Dublin inter-county players Paddy Small and Sean Bugler were prominent for the winners.
