Rafferty's side claimed a narrow win over Rhode in the quarter-finals at the weekend.
A win is a win, that's Ger Rafferty's assessment of Ferbane's victory over Rhode in the Offaly Senior Football Championship quarter-finals.
Late points from Cian Johnson, and Darragh Flynn helped last year's beaten finalists to a 12 points to 10 victory.
Rhode saw a run of 11 consecutive county finals ended by the same opposition at the semi-final stages last year.
It's over 25 years since the club has missed two championship deciders in a row.
Rafferty says his team deserved their narrow win:
In the competition's other quarter-finals, Shamrocks beat Ballycommon 3-2 on penalties after they finished level 1-15 to 3-9.
Tullamore were 1-14 to 1-3 winners against Durrow, while Edenderry beat Bracknagh 0-16 points to 2-7.
