Another successful night at IT Athlone meet
Cork woman Phil Healy thrilled the packed house at the AIT Indoor arena last night when she broke the national indoor 200 meters record running a time of 23.17 to break the mark that has stood since 2003.
She was delighted with the way she performed on the night:
Ciara Mageean didn't disappoint either winning the 3000 meters in a time of 8.48.27 which was a personal best time for her but not an Irish record.
Thomas Barr finished third in the 400 meters in a personal best time while Ethopian Samuel Tefera won the mile but didn't succeed in breaking the World record.
