The Camogie Association announced that no second teams can participate.
The Camogie Association have confirmed they will be restructuring their All-Ireland intermediate and junior competitions due to Covid-19 restrictions.
New directions state that each county can only enter one team in All-Ireland competitions, with no "second" teams allowed in the grades below senior level.
As a result Galway, Kilkenny, Cork, Dublin and Tipperary will have to withdraw their squads from the intermediate championship and focus solely on the senior level.
Laois begin their campaign in the intermediate championship with a trip to Kildare on Saturday.
It'll be a 2pm start in Hawkfield for the Group 1 clash.

Meanwhile, Westmeath will look to make it two from two in their return to the senior camogie ranks.
Johnny Greville's side head into their meeting with last years All-Ireland finalists Kilkenny off the back of a three point win over Limerick.
