Laois SFC Final: Portlaoise Captain Commits To Attacking County Final

Portlaoise meet Portarlington in this weekend's decider in Laois.

Portlaoise's captain is paying tribute to the club's manager ahead of this year's county final.

Ben Dempsey and his team mates are preparing to take on Portarlington in the Laois Senior Football Championship decider this weekend.

The county's most successful club have impressed through this year's campaign, adopting a direct and attacking style that's seen them land victories over the defending champions St Joseph's in the quarter-finals, and O'Dempsey's in the semis last time out.

Aidan Fennelly took over the side for 2024, and Dempsey says the players are enjoying playing under the club legend:
