The Heath had the better of the opening exchanges in Ratheniska yesterday evening.
Ballyroan-Abbey got their Laois Senior Football Championship campaign off to a winning start last night.
They overcame the Heath in the first match of this year's competition despite trailing by a point, 1-4 to 0-6 at half time.
After scoring heavily in the second half, Ballyroan-Abbey ran out 7 point winners.
The game finished 0-15 to 1-5.
There's two more games on in the senior grade this evening.
Portarlington meet O'Dempsey's in a replay of the 2022 championship final.
That game takes place at the LOETB Centre of excellence in Portlaoise.
The other game sees Courtwood facing Killeshin in Annanough.
Both matches throw in at 7.30pm.
