Lowry Kicks Off Masters Campaign Today

The Offaly golfer is the first of the Irish to tee-off, at 2.35pm.

Inclement conditions could play in to Shane Lowry's hands at this year's Masters.

That's what his former Leinster coach is saying ahead of the Clara man's first round at Augusta today.

Lowry struggled last time out at the WGC Matchplay, losing his first two matches to depart the tournament at the group stage.

McArdle says his win over Jordan Spieth in his last outing, may have given an extra pep in his step this week:

Lowry is the first of the Irish out on course today, he tees it up just after 25 to 3.

Seamus Power follows shortly afterwards at ten to 3.

And then it's Rory McIlroy from 6.48 this evening.
