Mixed Weekend For Midlands Clubs In Provincial Championships

Tubberclair and Camross enjoyed victories in their matches.

It was a tough weekend for midlands clubs in the provincial championships. 

Tullamore exited the Leinster Football Championship following their 2-19 to 0-10 defeat at home to Ballyboden St Enda's, while Portarlington suffered a 0-19 to 0-11 loss away to Athy. 

Tubberclair secured their place in the Leinster Intermediate football decider with a dramatic 4-16 to 4-12 win over Hunterstown Rovers, meanwhile Clara fell to a 2-18 to 1-12 defeat away to Sallins in Kildare. 

Camross booked their place in the All Ireland Intermediate Camogie final with a 2-11 to 0-12 victory over Killimor.
