Both clubs have bounced back from early setbacks in this year's campaign.
Shinrone and Coolderry meet in Tullamore this weekend to compete for a place in this year's Offaly Senior Hurling Championship semi-finals.
Shinrone eventually finished runner up in their group, but not before enduring a muted start to their campaign.
Last year's beaten finalists opened with a draw against Kinnitty, and followed that result with a heavy 18 point loss to Ballinamere.
With little room for error, the 2022 champions hit their stride with impressive performances and wins against both Birr and Belmont.
Coolderry, third in Group Two, recovered from an opening day loss to St Rynagh's to register back to back wins against Seir Kieran and Tullamore.
Their final round six point loss to Kilcormac-Killoughey was the best any club could manage against the defending champions in the competition so far.
It's Shinrone against Coolderry in O'Connor Park on Sunday at 3.30pm.
