It looks like he will be fit to take his place in the test team.
Robbie Henshaw has stepped up his recovery by returning to some light running with the Lions squad today.
The Leinster and Ireland centre will miss tomorrow's match with the Sharks after suffering a "mild" hamstring strain.
The Lions coaching staff say Henshaw is making "good progress", defence coach Steve Tandy had this update:
Meanwhile The Lions warm-up game against the Bulls this weekend is set to be called off.
It follows a number of COVID-19 cases in the South African club's squad.
There's also doubt over South Africa's test match against Georgia on Friday night after the Springboks' players were forced to isolate following a positive test result in their camp.
Lions' defence coach Steve Tandy says they'd be open to playing Georgia this weekend instead.
