Second Versus Third As Athlone Town Welcome UCD To Lissywollen

There are five games in the First Division this evening.

Athlone Town could go into the mid-season break in 2nd in the SSE Airtricity League First Division. 

To do so they'll need to defeat current 2nd placed UCD at Lissywoolen this evening. 

It's a repeat of the opening game of the season where the midlanders came from a goal down twice to draw 2-all.

Stephen Meaney and Adam Wixted with the goals on that occasion. 

Adrian Carberry's side got back to winning ways last weekend with a comeback win over Cobh Ramblers while UCD are without a win in two after drawing with Cork and a 3-1 loss against leaders Shelbourne seven days ago. 

Kick-off is at 7.45pm.

Elsewhere, Shelbourne have a five-point advantage at the summit ahead of hosting Galway. 

There's a derby between Cobh Ramblers and Cork City, Treaty United host Bray, while basement side Wexford go to Cabinteely. 

All of those games also kick off at a 7.45pm.

While in the Premier Division, Leaders Sligo Rovers make the trip to their north-west rivals Finn Harps this evening. 

The Bit O'Red have won their last four games heading into the 5.45 kick-off in Ballybofey. 

Derry City are unbeaten in six and make the trip to fellow in-form side Drogheda, where there's a 7.45 start. 

At the same time, St. Pat's, who lie third in the table, welcome Dundalk to Richmond Park.
