Southgate Taking 30% Pay Cut To Help FA

All employees earning £50,000 or more at the FA will take a temporary pay reduction.

England manager Gareth Southgate has taken a 30 percent pay cut in order to help the Football Association deal with the ongoing financial effects of the coronavirus crisis.

All employees earning £50,000 or more at the FA will take a temporary pay reduction of 7 and a half percent, with senior management taking a 15 percent cut.

The postponement of England internationals, FA Cup matches and Wembley events is forecast to cost them the equivalent of €113 million. 

The FA have also said they are considering the government's furlough scheme as "a contingency plan".

It’s reported that the Bundesliga will resume in early May. 

German magazine Bild say they’re hoping for a restart date of either May 2nd or 9th. 

Some Bundesliga clubs have returned to training today, but in small groups and observing strict hygiene rules.
