They meet undefeated Bray from 7:30. Athlone
It'll have been a nice week for Adrian Carberry and his team.
The sun has been out in force in the midlands and has been shining aplenty during the SSE Airtricity League Division One Campaign thus far.
Records are falling at a vast pace and tonight they look to end a streak of four consecutive defeats against Bray Wanderers dating back to 2019.
However that doesn't tell the full story of the fixture.
The sides have faced off 23 times since 1997 with Athlone only coming out on top three times and two of those victories came in 2003.
During that period the Seagulls have scored 50 goals to Athlone's 22.
So if Michael Schlingermann and co are to pick up another win and continue their imperious start to the season, another poor historical record will need shattering in the process.

Bray for all that they're undefeated are yet to win and the spine of their team is quite young.
Their goalkeeper, most creative midfielder and their leading striker are all under 21 years of age, something Athlone will be looking to exploit.
Brandon Kavanagh will be to the forefront of Adrian Carberry's mind having witnessed him perform a demolition job in Lissywoolen for Shamrock Rovers II in 2020.
Athlone have been lucky enough to name an unchanged team for each of their first three games and given their form, I expect that to continue this evening.
Jonathan Carlin will be pushing for inclusion soon but the ex-Cabinteely defender will need to be patient given the performances of Dylan Hand and Killian Cantwell as a pairing in the opening games.
Kick-Off at the Carlisle Grounds is at 7:30pm.
