Suspension of league could lead to cancellation of new competition
After the announcement of all GAA activities yesterday there are fears that the Tier Two football championship may not now go ahead this summer.
The last two rounds of the National Football League are unlikely to be played now which would affect the counties who would be eligible to play in the competition.
The GAA have said that they will wait until closer to March the 29th to make a decision on what to do about fixtures.
Meanwhile the GPA have written to all inter-county team managers to tell them that the ban on training until March the 29th must be strictly adhered to.
