The midlanders emerged from a dramatic third round cup tie against Waterford last time out.
The FAI Cup quarter-final draw has once again pitted Athlone Town against Premier Division opposition.
Dario Castelo's side will face Drogheda United at home for a place in the Cup semi-finals.
Athlone came through a testing third meeting with Premier Division high-flyers Waterford with two goals in the last four minutes of extra-time to secure progress to the last eight of the competition.
Drogheda are currently struggling in the top flight, sitting bottom of the standings with nine league games left.
Elsewhere there's a repeat of the 2022 final with the Premier Division's top two - Derry City and Shelbourne - meeting at the Ryan McBride Brandywell.
2023 finalists Bohemians will face UCD away from home while Wexford and Treaty United face off in an all-First Division tie.
The games will take place on the week ending September 15th.

Before making the draw - new Republic of Ireland boss Heimir Hallgrimsson stated his intention to see more domestic matches.
The Icelander has been to Dalymount Park, Tallaght Stadium and Tolka Park so far.
He revealed that his current priority is watching Irish players in action in the UK.
Hallgrimsson explained why he believes the matches against Greece are more important than his first game in charge against England
