Both counties head in to Saturday's game unbeaten in league action.
A "really tough challenge" is how Westmeath goalkeeper Fiona Keating is describing her side's upcoming fixture against table toppers Derry.
The game in Cusack Park on Saturday will see the top two teams in Division 2A of the Camogie league go head to head.
Westmeath are hoping to maintain their unbeaten run in the campaign, having won three and drawn one of their four games so far.
With Derry having won the intermediate championship last year, Keating is making no secret of her side's desire to emulate that feat this season.
She tells David Hollywood her side are motivated by the Derry challenge:
Throw in at Cusack Park is set for 2pm tomorrow.
Elsewhere, at the same time, Offaly will look to bounce back from their loss to Derry last time out when they wrap up their league campaign against Meath, in Ashbourne
