Down were swept aside on a final scoreline of 7-24 to 0-14.
That result was the O'Moore County's biggest winning margin in over 80 years.
Stephen Bergin helped himself to a hat trick while there were goals for Willie Dunphy, Stephen Maher, Paddy Purcell, and Tomas Keyes.
