He'll be just the second man to do so.
There was disappointment for former Portlaoise star Zach Tuohy last weekend.
The Geelong Cats man was in line to make his 200th appearance in Australian Rules, becoming the second Irishman to do so after Jim Stynes.
However a rib injury has forced the ex Laois minor wing back to delay reaching the milestone by another week.
His club released an emotional tribute video in the build up to the game, but are hopeful he'll be available for their next fixture against Richmond on Friday.

Meanwhile, Conor McKenna is to return home after announcing his retirement from Aussie Rules.
The 24 year old Tyrone native joined Essendon in 2014 and played 79 times for the Melbourne club.
McKenna has admitted on several occasions in the past that he struggled with homesickness throughout his AFL career.
"I've lived (almost) a third of my life here. It's pretty difficult to say bye."
