Organisers of the St Patrick's Day Parade say its return will be an emotional moment for the population.
The 5 day festival has not taken place since 2019 due Covid-19 restrictions.
A festival hub will be set up at the National Museum of Ireland, which will host activities from morning to night.

Meanwhile, the Mountmellicks Boglands Festival St. Patrick's Day Parade 2022 says registration for the event is now open.
The festival will run over three days, March 16th to 18th
There will be live music with a Street Market.
The organisers say they are putting their heart and soul into the event.
