Edenderry Garda Station closed yesterday after two gardaí were hospitalised after processing cannabis vapes.

The Offaly garda station closed down after two gardaí were hospitalised after processing cannabis vapes is reopening this morning.

Edenderry Station was the subject of an examination and a deep clean yesterday after the incident on Wednesday.

Both Gardaí have since been released from hospital.

The vape products were seized from a business premise during a recent investigation in the town.
