The facility will include a virtual reality mission and event area.
Plans have been submitted for a new space exploration centre.
Metaversal Limited is seeking planning permission for the new facility in Monksland.
The developer wants to build a new space-themed educational and recreational facility in the Westpoint Business Park.
The report states the National Space Exploration Centre will feature an immersive and interactive museum, a virtual reality mission and an event area with an adjoining cafe.
It's hoped there'll be as many as 45 exhibitions, if given the green light.
Upon completion of the centre, up to 19 part-time and three full-time jobs will be created, and the developer says it will aim to promote S.T.E.M in the midlands and around the country.
Roscommon County Council is due to make a decision on the proposed development in July.
