Fianna Fail and Offaly MEP Barry Cowen is hosting the event this evening from 5:30 in the Mullingar Park Hotel.
As the lead negociator for the policy with his party in the EU, Renew Europe he' ll be taking part in a panel discussion alongside other MEP'S.
The event comes as talks to shape the policy post 2027 continue, with a national consulation on Ireland's stance by the Department of Agriculture having just closed.
