It's after the High Court last night appointed liquidators to four Irish companies that are part of the British fashion group.
In the UK, Arcadia collapsed into administration yesterday.
Here, its stores include Topshop and Wallis in Athlone.
The Junior Business Minister is hopeful nearly 500 jobs will not be lost in 14 Arcadia stores in Ireland.
