Tomorrow afternoon Athlone Town will take part in their first FAI Cup Quarter-Final in fourteen years.
Fresh from signing a new two year deal, manager Adrian Carberry and his young midlanders will welcome Shelbourne to Lissywoolen for a 3pm kick-off.
Athlone reached this stage after beating Wexford 5-3, while Shels dispatched Galway 5-2.
The midlanders vice captain John Morgan says Carberry's influence means the team won't be put off by the big occasion:
Adrian Carberry will have a full squad to choose from as he looks to plot the downfall of last years SSE Airtricity First Division champions.
He says Athlone will be hoping the magic of the cup will help them cause an upset:
