Stephen Maher and his Clough Ballacolla side landed their third county title this year.
"Hard work" and "dedication" is what it took to land a third consecutive county title according to Laois star Stephen 'Picky' Maher.
Clough Ballacolla landed the senior hurling championship with an unbeaten run to the final this year.
The final score at O'Moore Park saw the defending champions run out 1-24 to 0-16 winners.
Disappointment was to follow against Kilmacud Crokes in the quarter final but Maher says they'll learn what they can from the loss and the previous success:
