1,400 participants will take to the line in Tullamore on Saturday.
Representatives from the Tullamore Harriers and Bord na Móna have officially launched the Bord na Móna Tullamore Harriers Half Marathon.
With the race just over two weeks away, excitement is building for the August 31st event, which has already attracted a record-breaking 1,400 participants.
The committee, joined by the main sponsor, Bord na Móna, is preparing to host one of the most anticipated races on the Irish running calendar, drawing athletes from all over the country.
The race will also serve as the Leinster Half Marathon championship.
