ommuters in Westmeath are facing delays for the next month or so.
The Robinstown Link Road in Mullingar is closed for extensive works, and won't be fully re-opened until May 2nd.
The works, which will be in place from 7am until 6pm each weekday, are to facilitate road realignment works along with a new cycleway, footpaths and a pedestrian crossing.
The project was originally scheduled to take place last summer over a two month period, however following objections from Westmeath Councillors, the works were scheduled for around the Easter period.
